GO PRO - Assistant Instructor Orientation - August 12th - 4 pm at Scuba Unlimited - PADI Assistant Instructors are dive educators who assist with, organize and supervise knowledge development, confined water and open water activities. Assistant instructors work in partnership with PADI Instructors to provide student divers with quality knowledge and skill development during PADI programs.  CALL TODAY TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT!

Discover TecRec - If you are thinking about technical diving but aren't sure, DSAT Discover Tec lets you try technical diving equipment and procedures. Discover Tec experiences can also credit towards the DSAT Apprentice Tec Diver or Tec Deep Diver courses.  Oct 25th.

 DIVE WITH US! – Scuba Unlimited will be holding our last DIVE WITH US! weekend of the summer.  We will be heading out to Blue Springs for a weekend of diving, education and fun.  We will have additional staff on hand for this event.  Come to gain additional experience through specialty courses or just to hang out to dive and talk diving.  Sept 15/16.

Open Water Certification Weekends – Our last weekends are starting to fill.  If you need to complete your certification dives, please call the store to schedule your dives.  We hold 2 dives on Saturday and 2 dives on Sunday.  This will complete your PADI Open Water certification and start a lifetime of diving.

August Course of the Month

Emergency First Responder course - Take a step toward emergency preparedness and meet PADI Rescue Diver prerequisites with Emergency First Response. As one of the foremost international CPR and first aid training companies, Emergency First Response gives you the confidence to respond to medical emergencies -- not just in the diving world, but in your every day world with your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers too.  Self study prior to class required.  August 21st 6 pm at SU

DAN O2 Provider - As a recreational diver, you can receive training to provide vital first aid that can make a difference to a scuba diver with decompression illness. The DAN Oxygen Provider Course provides entry-level training in the recognition and management of possible diving-related injuries using emergency oxygen first aid. August 30th. 7 pm at Scuba unlimited

Buoyancy Workshop - Fine tune your buoyancy skills with this course.  Learn tricks to maintain neutral buoyancy and proper trim in the water . August 15th

Night Diver - The adventure, thrill and excitement of night diving can be yours when you complete your PADI Night Diver Specialty course. You learn about night dive planning, equipment and navigation. You practice these on three night dives, plus introduce yourself to the whole new cast of critters that comes out after the sun goes down. August 20th and 25th.

Rescue Diver - Challenging and rewarding best describes the PADI Rescue Diver course. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is challenging, it is a rewarding way to build your confidence. Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. Many divers say this is the best course they’ve ever taken. August 28, Sept. 6 and Sept 8/9.
