  • Open Water Course

    Learn to Dive! 7 sessions covering both the academics and confined water portions of the PADI Open Water Scuba certification. Course includes rental scuba gear for pool sessions and PADI crewpak, PADI DVD, planning slate and surface signaling device. Required personal gear (mask, fins, snorkel) can be purchased at Scuba Unlimited. Final step in certification process is 4 open water dives at Sugar Grove Quarry or can be completed on a Scuba Unlimited trip.

    Learn technique for identifying underwater creatures This class will cover: How to identify characteristics of local fish families and species; Fish survey techniques and strategies; Project AWARE activities that can help protect aquatic life. This class includes one classroom session and two quarry dives.
