Learn self-rescue, how to rescue panicked or nonresponsive divers, and the importance of emergency equipment. Two classroom sessions, one pool session, and two days of checkout dives are required.

Course includes rental scuba gear for pool sessions and PADI crewpak, PADI DVD, planning slate and surface signaling device. Required personal gear (mask, fins, snorkel) can be purchased at Scuba Unlimited. Final step in certification process is 4 open water dives at Sugar Grove Quarry or can be completed on a Scuba Unlimited trip.
